Design Manager
While our product concepts are determined in-house, they are brought to life by designers around the world. Finding them, briefing them, working with them to take a concept from the whiteboard through to approved production samples requires a very focused and deadline-oriented person. You understand that excellence, while difficult to define, is immediately apparent when it's spotted. You believe in planning ahead, working to deadlines, anticipating problems and fixing them before they cause disruption. We are looking for a design/development-focused project leader who has a particular talent for getting things done. Buyer/Merchandiser
Think Indiana Jones meets James Dyson. Our manufacturing partners are scattered all over the world. While it's a full-time job keeping up with the ones we currently work with, we want you to find more. A rigorous set of standards applies to both our partners and the products we create together. You sit right in between the two, ensuring that once a design is delivered for production it is made in the right way, purchased in the right quantities, flowed smoothly and presented to our stores in a way that leads to effective sales. Web Content Manager
How we do it is at least as important as what we do. The things we see, the people we meet, the ideas we have, the places we go and the products we create all have a story. You are a critical part of telling that story - and that story is central to our brand. You are a superb yet understated copywriter. You are never without your camera. You live in the blogosphere and love it - almost as much as you hate the term. You have a particular interest in contemporary design and architecture and a demonstrated knowledge about who is doing what where.
