He may have designed glass for over 40 years, but Tomic still finds the process to be both his profession and his passion. When not at the glassworks, he can be found experimenting with new design concepts in a small studio that he built himself just behind his house. There he is surrounded by the things that matter most – pictures of his family, his beloved surfboards (he is an avid windsurfer) and, of course, his glass.

Located just over the Italian-Slovenian border in the ancient spa town of Rogaška-Slatina,  the glassworks has been in continuous operation since the 1660s.
